Maareesan where Vadivelu steals the Show!
What’s This Film Anyway?
Maareesan is a Tamil thriller road drama directed by Sudheesh Sankar and written by V. Krishna Moorthy. At the heart of the film are two powerhouses: Vadivelu, redefining his comic legacy as an Alzheimer’s patient, and Fahadh Faasil, the ever-charming thief who lives in the grey. Alongside them, you’ll spot familiar faces like Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna.
Plot in a Nutshell (No Spoilers, Promise)
Fahadh plays Dayalan, a thief fresh out of prison, whose brain still ticks in crooked ways. Enter Velayudham (Vadivelu), who Dayalan mistakes for an easy target. Except—Velayudham isn’t so helpless. Yodha Movie Review : Kya Dekhni Chahiye?
Yodha is a recently released film starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. It is based on the Highjack stories, and plenty of movies are based on hijack topics in India, but let’s find out if this film stands out. The film is written and directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and Produced by Hiro Yash Johar and Karan Johar.
The action in the film is quite impressive, but it is very predictable, and with fewer twists, the screenplay seems weak. The film engages the audience and progresses smoothly until the interval, but after that, it struggles a lot to maintain viewers’ interest.
Despite a run time of just 2 Hrs and 13 Minutes, the film feels long and follows a predictable storyline, and there are plenty of illogical points.
After the success of Shershah, Sidharth Malhotra is getting similar roles. We have seen him in Mission Majnu and the Indian Police Force, but both failed to impress the audiences. In this film, Siddharth Malhotra delivers a standout performance across various aspects, such as action sequences, emotional depth, and on-screen charisma. Raashii Khanna’s role is limited but well executed, showcasing her talent.
Despite being a talented actor, Disha Patani’s portrayal is average, while Sunny Hindhuja has limited scope in a negative character space. The rest of the ensemble cast delivers adequate but not remarkable performances.
The movie’s screenplay is a major drawback, failing to capitalize on its potential fully. While the film carries elements of patriotism, it lacks the desired impact. The dialogue is okay, and the BGM could have been more impactful.
It may be worth watching if one has spare time or is waiting for its release on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime. So I suggest you don’t waste your money watching Yodha in cinema halls; you had better wait for its OTT release on Amazon Prime.

Indian Police Force Review: A Big Budget CID Show
Indian Police Force is the latest web series released on Amazon Prime, it was created by Rohit Shetty, he is a well-known Indian film director, known for his hit films like Golmaal Series, Singham, and his cop universe which includes Singham Series, Simbaa, and Suryavanshi.
It looks like the Indian Police Force is also part of his cop universe as we haven’t seen any actor with different characters from previous films, but there was no hint that IPF is part of the cop universe.
Indian Police Force is the story of Delhi Police officers and a terrorist, the whole series is about a cat and mouse game, which was expected in such type of series. It starts with a serial blast in Delhi and then they start looking for the culprits, but they couldn’t catch them.
I feel that this is the lowest work of Rohit Shetty, and this web series doesn’t even have the feel of a web series, it looks like a Big movie cut into 7 episodes. Indian Police Force has lots of Slow motion shots, heavy music, and punch lines, just like Rohit Shetty Movies, but in terms of story, the web series lacks a lot, it has a similar story just like all series made on terrorism, so nothing new to watch.
In terms of actors’ performances, all the actors looked weak, even the villains (Mayyank Taandon and Rituraj Singh) of the series weren’t scary at all.
Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty were bad, but a cameo from Sharad Kelkar was good, and I was happy to see Mukesh Rishi back in the Hindi project.
Indian Police Force lacks a lot of content and I don’t consider it as a web series, it feels like a movie, Rohit Shetty could have released it in the cinema hall by linking it to the cop universe by adding some cameo of Singham, Simbaa, and Suryavanshi, even I was expecting it in the Web series but there was no cameo.
Overall, you can skip this web series, as it looks like a big-budget CID TV Show, and save your time for Special Ops 2.

Animal Film Review: A Must watch for all Fathers
The movie Animal has been released, captivating audiences in cinema halls and multiplexes. It marks the biggest opening for Ranbir Kapoor and has shattered several records.
On its first day, Animal earned over 100 crores worldwide and continues to perform robustly on weekends, setting the stage for it to reach a 300-crore milestone within a weekend, an exceptional feat for Ranbir Kapoor.
Despite clashing with Sam Bahadur, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal remarkably achieved a 100-crore mark in a single day. Undoubtedly, credit for this achievement belongs to the director and the talented actors involved in the film.

Story of Animal
The movie depicts the story of a boy who has endured neglect from his father throughout his life. Nevertheless, he maintains deep affection for his father and takes extraordinary measures to prove his love, so it is a Hindi film about Father Son Relations.
The film portrays businessman Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor), who owns a steel business and holds the title of the richest man in India. His son, Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor), is hot-headed and aggressive, willing to go to any lengths to protect his family, as depicted in the first half of the film.
In an attempt to safeguard his sister from troublemakers, he resorts to bringing an AK-47 to her college and intimidating the students. Consequently, his father enrolls him in a boarding school to instill discipline. There are some great Dialogues in Animal in the first half of the film.
Despite these events, Ranvijay’s love for his father persists. However, upon his return, his brother-in-law becomes his father’s favorite. He advises Geethanjali (Rashmika Mandana) to marry an alpha male, expressing his feelings for her. She reciprocates, breaking off her engagement. Ranvijay’s father rejects her, leading him to move to the US with her.
When his father is shot, Ranvijay returns and discovers that some family members were behind the attempt on his father’s life. Taking charge, he makes every effort to protect him, resulting in intense and violent sequences, including numerous killings and brutal acts with an axe.
The first half of the film is remarkable, showcasing some of the finest action scenes in Hindi cinema. However, the second half lags and falls short of expectations, with a storyline stretched by unnecessary scenes. A significant flaw is the belated introduction of Bobby Deol’s character, almost as a cameo rather than a substantial role, appearing towards the film’s conclusion.
Tripti Dimri’s character was not needed in the film, I feel it was only to show some intimate scenes.
Acting
In terms of acting, this stands as one of Ranbir Kapoor’s finest performances. His portrayal of Ranvijay surpasses expectations, especially considering his previous roles in romantic films. Undoubtedly, he is poised to become a major superstar in Hindi cinema, potentially succeeding the Khans.
While I previously held reservations about Rashmika Mandana’s acting abilities, considering her roles were largely due to her charm, this film proved me wrong. She delivered a fantastic performance, showcasing remarkable talent that rivaled Ranbir Kapoor in certain scenes.
Anil Kapoor delivers a brilliant performance as always. Bobby Deol’s character was impressive, yet limited screen time hindered exploring the depth of his role. A small cameo by famous Marathi actor Upendra Limaye was very good. Overall, the actors gave their best performances,
Music of Animal
Regarding the film’s music, the songs are good, Arjan Vailly Song gives you goosebumps, though some feel unnecessary. The background music is exceptional, adding fire to the action sequences and making them worth every penny.
Final Verdict for Animal
Animal film climax shares the whole reason why Ranvijay is violent and so brutal, and that is the must-watch part of the film, It is a must-watch for all fathers, how bad parenting can ruin your kid’s life, there is a subtle message for all of us, don’t run after money, spend time with your family, your family needs you too, not only your money.
The language used in the film, and the way Sandeep Reddy Vanga portrays male characters can hurt many people and may offend some, it does glorify the bad things in the film, when you watch this film in the cinema, you will find people enjoying, so It may influence the kids, that’s why A certificate was needed.

Tiger 3 is the latest film from the YRF Spy universe and is the 3rd film from the Tiger Series, Salman Khan is back in action with his Tiger character, and Katrina Kaif is Zoya.

Story of Tiger 3
Let’s talk about the story of Tiger 3, If you are a fan of Salman Khan, you may like the film, but if you are looking for an interesting plot in a spy film, then this is a big disappointment.
The film introduces Emran Hashmi in a negative role, he plays an ISI agent who wants to take revenge on Tiger and wants to stop peace talks between India and Pakistan.
In the same old plot, an agent has gone rogue, This time Agent is from Pakistan (Emran Hashmi), We have seen the same story in Main Hoon Na, There was a similar revenge story in Gadar 2 as well.
So storywise the film is a big failure, but for Salman Khan Fans story is never a priority, they want unlimited actions and Dialogue in Tiger 3, which the film delivers, you will find plenty of action scenes.
Performances in Tiger 3
Salman Khan delivers the same tone as in other Tiger films, but this time he looks dull and tired, Katrina Kaif is beautiful as always but her chemistry with Salman Khan is missing in this film, which we liked in the other two Tiger films.
Emraan Hashmi is the backbone of the film, and his dialogues are superb, but in the end, you end up disappointed because the film has many predictable moments and there are no surprise elements, even SRK’s cameo was confirmed in Pathaan.
SRK’s cameo has some great action sequences and Just like Pathaan, SRK did a cameo in a Jail Escape scene, It was a good 15 minutes of the film.
If you have seen Pathaan, War, then you will find many similarities in Tiger 3, the story is almost similar and most of the action sequences are okay.
You will find a Hrithik Roshan appearance in the end credits, that’s more like the announcement of the next Spy film.
Verdict
Our verdict doesn’t matter to Salman Khan fans, but if you came here for an honest opinion, then I would say you can skip this film, you can watch it on OTT later, Tiger 3 lacks in story, and the plot is similar to old Spy films, and You will find it repetitive.

Story of Jawan
In the year 1986, villagers discovered a man in a river near the Chinese border, suffering from bullet wounds and on the brink of death. The villagers rescued him, and after several months, he returned the favor by saving them from the Chinese army.
The film then shifts to present-day Mumbai, where six girls and a man attempt a train hijacking, demanding something from the system, and they are willing to go to great lengths to achieve their goal. The film becomes intriguing as it explores their methods and their vigilante-style pursuit of justice through multiple similar attacks.
The film boasts numerous praiseworthy scenes, featuring moments that will make you want to cheer and applaud. While I won’t divulge the entire story, you’ll find it reminiscent of other vigilante films such as “Aparichit,” “A Wednesday,” and “Indian,” among others.
Jawan has some great one Liners and Jawan’s dialogues suit SRK’s style.
Direction of Jawan
Director Atlee Kumar has previously assisted S. Shankar, renowned for making vigilante movies. This film strongly suggests that Atlee has gleaned inspiration from Shankar’s style. Vigilante movies have always been well-received, as they provide satisfaction in seeing individuals rectify wrongdoings.
Atlee’s direction shines brilliantly in this film, with very few dull moments throughout its almost three-hour duration. The screenplay is tight and crisp, leaving you with little opportunity to catch your breath.
Music of Jawan
The songs in Jawan are mostly average, with the exception of the song “Zinda Banda.” Many of the songs appear to have been dubbed from Tamil to Hindi, and the lyrics are not particularly memorable. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichandar, a talented composer who may have faced challenges in adapting his music to Hindi lyrics. However, the film’s background music is fiery and complements the scenes perfectly.

Overall, Jawan is a must-watch film. We give it 4 out of 5 stars, making it one of SRK’s best films.
