3 Idiots (2009)

3 Idiots is the highest earning movie of Bollywood, a comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It is said to be loosely based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel “Five Point Someone – What not to do at IIT! ”. The movie broke all the opening box office records and earned 385 crores becoming Biggest Blockbuster ever in Hindi Cinema.

Ek Tha Tiger (2012)

Ek Tha Tiger is a romantic action thriller film directed by Aditya Chopra. Salman Khan and Katrina’s chemistry was well shown in the movie. Indian RAW officer falls in love with Pakistan’s ISI agent. YJHD is a romantic- comedy film directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar. Star cast of the movie- Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin. YJHD has surprised and shocked the movie critics by attaining the third highest grossing movie of Bollywood ever. YJHD earned 270 Crore and is still earning.

Dabangg 2 (2012)

Dabangg 2 is action movie directed by Arbaaz Khan. It’s the sequel of Dabangg (2010). Star cast of the movie is- Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The movie earned 250 crores worldwide.

Synopsis:

Ghanchakkar is a comedy thriller movie directed by Rajkumar Gupta. When you have Emraan Hashmi in the movie, how can you not expect lip locks?? Emran and Vidya play Husband and wife and you have few steamy scenes to keep you hooked up and tickle your libido. The movie is about Sanju (Emraan) a master safe cracker, who before leaving his career of crimes decides to commit one last heist with two dangerous criminals. A bank robbery !!!!!!

What I feel:

Besides the Plot of the movie is very old, Ghanchakkar somehow manages a crazy roller coaster suspense ride for audiences. Every turn in the movie is full of shocks and surprises. After second half, the movie becomes lazy, and repetitive. It’s a mixed bag, some people may like it and some may hate it.

The acting skills of Vidya and Emraan tries to hold the movie altogether. Emraan has justified his character very well and needless to say anything about Vidya, she is perfect in every role. Supporting actors Namita and Rajesh have complimented the duo amazingly.

Story:

The story is about a Lazy man who is a master safe cracker and loves his TV more than his wife. He wants to end the life of a criminal and decides to go for one last robbery. Emraan teams up with two people and they all together plan to rob a bank, which surprisingly goes according to plan. The problem arises when Sanju who has been given the task of hiding money, refuses to recognize his partners in crime due to Amnesia.

Vidya plays the role of a Punjabi wife, her Punjabi accent and her fashion style in the movie is very funny. Her “minute is mint”, “bharosa is bhrosa” and “galat is galt”. Vidya Balan with her prominent acting skills steals the show.

Verdict:

Despite the fact, that Vidya and Emraan have done a commendable job in the movie, the movie lacks a lot of things. It has humor, but not to the point. It has steamy scenes but they aren’t that effective. On the whole the movie is good but not very good. It could have been much better and might be said perfect. Somehow the movie manages to hold the audiences to its seat.

With Raanjhanaa going great on screens, It is going to be tough for Ghanchakkar to collect good Box-Office collections.

I think you have watched the movie “The Silicon Valley” which discusses the story of the two Silicon Valley tycoons Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Now Open Road Films and Joshua Michael Stern have brought you an amazing creation

They were shooting a movie about Steve jobs, this news was there on the internet since a long time since the spread of that news people are waiting for the release of that film

Synopsis-

Raanjhanaa brings the fresh breath of air for the silver screen. No good releases except YJHD, Box office was waiting for something to bring back shine. Viewers were also waiting for Raanjhanaa from the first day it’s promotions started.  Long awaited movie that fulfills the expectations of the audiences as well as hook up them to their seats. The characters of Zoya and Kundan are full of flaws, they make mistakes and blunders, Rai has tried to show two real characters and not painted the characters into a pretty picture.

What I feel

A brooding love story that will touch everyone’s heart. The earthy and rustic story of Raanjhanaa makes it more special. Dhanush is effortless but this time Sonal Kapoor stole the whole show. The story of Raanjhanaa is complicated but transparent.

Story:

Narrated in flashback, a Kiddo of banaras, Kundan (played by Naman Jain and later played by Dhanush) is revealed and later a ninth grade student Kundan (Dhanush) watches Zoya (Sonam) imitating Madhuri Dixit. She slaps Kundan more than half a dozen times to let him know her name Zoya, which is cute as well as humorous for audiences. The movie is full with fresh surprise doses for the audiences which they will surely like, and I will not spoil these surprises here. The love story with a twist. Zoya love Akram (Abhay Deol), Dhanush loves Zoya and to add more spice, Swara Bhaskar who plays Kundan’s child hood friends tries to seduce Dhanush in one of the scenes. The movie also deals with Eve – teasing issues.

Verdict:

This movie has all the worth to attract young lovers and to set more new Box office records. Raanjhana with some really incredible performances by Dhanush and Sonam, with the music of A R Rahman has come up so nicely that one can only experience it. In short I can say, it’s like a Shakespearean romantic poetry, flawless and seamless. My words cannot describe them so easily. It is a Must Watch.
